1. Physical Books (Fiction, Nonfiction, Print Books)

1.1 Return Window

Physical books may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund if they meet the following conditions:

  • Books are in new, unused, and unread condition
  • Original packaging is intact (shrink wrap, if applicable)
  • Books show no signs of wear, markings, or damage
  • All accessories or inserts are included

1.2 Non-Returnable Physical Books

We cannot accept returns on physical books that are:

  • Read, written in, or showing signs of use
  • Damaged by the customer
  • Missing original packaging or accessories
  • Returned after 30 days from delivery

Changed your mind? As long as the book is unread and in pristine condition, we'll gladly accept your return within 30 days!

1.3 Damaged or Defective Books

If you receive a damaged or defective book:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos of the damage
  • We will send a replacement or issue a full refund (including shipping)
  • You do not need to return the damaged item

2. Digital Products (eBooks & Audiobooks)

2.1 No Returns on Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer returns or refunds on eBooks and audiobooks once they have been:

  • Downloaded to your device
  • Accessed or opened through our platform
  • Listened to or read (even partially)

⚠️ Important:

Please review eBook/audiobook descriptions, previews, and sample chapters carefully before making a purchase. All sales of digital content are final once accessed.

2.2 Exceptions - Refunds May Be Granted

We may issue refunds for digital products in these exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: The file is corrupted or unplayable
  • Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the same item twice
  • Billing Errors: You were charged incorrectly
  • Access Problems: You cannot access the content due to technical issues on our end

2.3 Timeframe for Digital Refund Requests

Refund requests for eligible circumstances must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase.

3. Custom Kids' Stories (Personalized Books)

3.1 Custom Orders Are Non-Refundable

Custom personalized stories created with your child's name, photo, and details are made-to-order and cannot be resold. Therefore:

  • All custom story orders are final and non-refundable once production begins
  • Digital custom stories cannot be refunded once delivered
  • Printed custom stories cannot be returned or refunded

⚠️ Please Review Carefully:

Before finalizing your custom story order, carefully review all details including child's name, age, plot, language, and uploaded photos. Once you confirm your order, production begins immediately.

3.2 Production Errors

We will provide a refund or replacement if the custom story has production errors:

  • Printing Defects: Poor print quality, missing pages, binding issues
  • Wrong Information: We printed incorrect details (our error, not yours)
  • Damaged in Shipping: Book arrives damaged

Contact us within 7 days of receiving your custom story with photos of the issue.

3.3 Customer Input Errors

We are not responsible for errors in information you provided:

  • Misspelled child's name
  • Wrong age range selected
  • Low-quality photo uploaded
  • Incorrect language chosen

Please double-check all details before submitting your order.

4. Print-on-Demand Merchandise (Mugs, Tumblers, Shirts, etc.)

4.1 Return Policy for Merchandise

Print-on-demand merchandise items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if:

  • Item is defective or damaged
  • Wrong item was sent
  • Printing error or quality issue

4.2 Non-Returnable Merchandise

We cannot accept returns on merchandise that:

  • Has been used or worn
  • Is not in original condition
  • Is being returned due to change of mind (custom printed items)
  • Was ordered with incorrect size/color (customer error)

4.3 Defective Merchandise

If you receive defective or damaged merchandise:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of the defect
  • We will send a replacement or issue a full refund
  • You may not need to return the defective item

5. How to Request a Return or Refund

If you need to return an item or request a refund, please follow these steps:

6. Return Shipping and Processing

6.1 Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • Our Error or Defective Item: We pay for return shipping
  • Change of Mind: Customer pays for return shipping
  • Wrong Item Sent: We pay for return shipping and send correct item

6.2 Refund Processing Time

Once we receive your returned item:

  • Inspection: 1-2 business days
  • Refund Processing: 5-7 business days to your original payment method
  • Bank Processing: Additional 3-10 business days depending on your bank

6.3 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot issue refunds to a different card or account.

⚠️ Return Shipping Tips:

Use a trackable shipping method when returning items. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit. Keep your tracking number until your refund is processed.

6.4 Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees on eligible returns.

7. Exchanges

7.1 Book Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange a book for a different title:

  • Contact us within 30 days of delivery
  • Book must be in new, unread condition
  • We'll provide return instructions and send your new selection
  • Price difference may apply

7.2 Merchandise Size/Color Exchanges

For standard (non-custom) merchandise:

  • Exchanges available within 14 days
  • Item must be unused and in original packaging
  • Customer pays shipping for exchanges

7.3 Custom Items Cannot Be Exchanged

Personalized books and custom merchandise cannot be exchanged as they are made specifically for you.

8. Order Cancellations

8.1 Before Shipment

You can cancel your order for a full refund if:

  • Order has not yet been processed/shipped
  • Custom story production has not begun
  • Contact us as soon as possible

8.2 After Shipment

Once an order has shipped:

  • You must follow the return process (see Section 5)
  • Regular return policies apply
  • You may refuse delivery, but return shipping costs apply

8.3 Custom Story Cancellations

Custom story orders can only be cancelled:

  • Within 1 hour of placing the order
  • Before production begins
  • Contact us immediately if you need to cancel

We start working on custom stories immediately! If you need to cancel, contact us right away for the best chance of cancellation.

9. Damaged or Lost Packages

9.1 Damaged in Transit

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Take photos of the damaged packaging and item
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • We'll file a claim with the carrier and send a replacement
  • You keep the damaged item

9.2 Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows delivered but you didn't receive your package:

  • Check with neighbors and household members
  • Verify delivery address is correct
  • Wait 24 hours (sometimes marked delivered early)
  • Contact us if still missing - we'll investigate and resolve

9.3 Incorrect Address

If you provided an incorrect shipping address:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We may be able to update before shipping
  • After shipment, address changes incur additional fees
  • Customer is responsible for re-shipping costs
